According to Forbes Magazine, Queen Rania is the most powerful woman in the middle East. She is married to King Abdullah of Jordan. Always elegant and active, Queen Rania follows the GI diet to maintain her slim silhouette.



What is GI diet? GI stands for glycaemic index - which measures the speed at which carbohydrates break down in the body. If you tired of counting calorie, this diet could work for you. The GI die is easy to follow. You still can eat out, have lunch on the run or indulge in the odd treat. 

The GI diet compromises a unique combination of foods that have two essential characteristic: they make you feel full for longer and they're low in calorie. Due to the emphasis on fresh fruits, veg, legumes and nuts, you can save on food preparation time. According to Rick Gallop, the author of The G.I. Diet, by following this plan, you can expect to lose up to 2lb-3lb per week, if you are more than 10% overweight.

  1. Great post! I encourage my kids to eat as much fruit as they want and during the summer, youcan usually find them in the garden sneaking the veggies. Cute. They think I'll get mad for eating all the beans. Wouldn't dare tell them I would just let them;)
