Weight Loss Recipe: Gazpacho Recipe for Fast Weight Loss

When I am on diet, I always try to keep my diet clean. It's tempting to eat when you get bored, so planning a meal ahead is very helpful, not just for your tummy but your wallet as well. I found this recipe while watching an episode of Selera at TV3.

Gazpacho is a classic Spanish cold tomato soup. It is usually served on hot summer days. This recipe is very easy one, anyone can make it and the ingredients are not difficult to find. Make sure you only use the freshest, highest quality ingredients for this soup. According to Chef Rose Weiss, the host of Selera, Gazpacho can be store in a jar and kept in refrigerator for a week. This soup is suitable for people who are trying to lose weight. Just replace your regular dinner with a bowl of gazpacho. Here is the recipe. Enjoy!

Gazpacho Recipe

  • 6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 purple onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
  • 1 sweet red bell pepper (or green) seeded and chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 25ml apple cider vinegar
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 6 or more drops of Tabasco sauce to taste - skip if you don't want your gazpacho to be hot
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (omit for vegetarian option)
  • 4 cups tomato juice or tomato puree


Put everything in a blender and pulse it a few times till everything is combined. Taste and adjust the flavors. Blend a little more if you like your gazpacho smooth and creamy. Chill in the fridge before serve.
